Help Raleigh's Most Vulnerable Women on #GivingTuesdayNow

Designed For Joy is committed to supporting the most vulnerable women in our community by providing them with safe, dignified work. These women - many with a history of trafficking, homelessness, addiction, among other difficult situations - face challenges even in ‘normal’ times. But these challenges have been magnified during the current health and economic crisis.

While we are not presently operating at 100% due to government guidelines and the safety of our artisans that we serve, we are busy making preparations and the necessary adjustments to bring everyone back as soon as possible. In fact, one of our artisan leaders is back in the studio as of today handling fulfillment of our online orders. Bringing artisans back in to restart production is a little more challenging, but our goal is to have one artisan back in the studio by June 1 with another returning July 1. In the meantime we’re continuing to minister to our artisans - lots of check-in calls and texts, food and clothing deliveries by some of our faithful volunteers, and lots of prayer.

Going forward we know things might look a little different, but one thing will not change - our mission of serving the most vulnerable women in Raleigh. Will you join in our mission by donating today in support of #givingtuesdaynow?
