FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

RALEIGH, N.C., Nov., 15, 2023 — Fresh off the heels of its appearance on HSN (Home Shopping Network), Designed For Joy announced its new pop-up store for the holidays in North Hills.

“We are excited to continue to spread our mission and get in front of more people in Raleigh to learn about the work we are doing to support women in crisis, said Cary Heise, executive director and co-founder of Designed For Joy.

The weekend pop-up store will be a part of Makers on Main, a location featuring local small businesses. Located across the street from Kendra Scott and the new Rothy’s store, the store will open on November 17th, just in time for the North Hills Tree Lighting on November 18th. The store will stay open through Christmas Eve.

Shopping hours are as follows:

Friday and Saturday 10:00 am-7:00 pm
Sunday 12:00 pm-5:00 pm

"We are excited for Designed for Joy and the other groups to help bring our Makers on Main pop up to life," said Stacey Buescher, Managing Director for Kane Realty Corporation. "We love partnering with entrepreneurs and nonprofits in our community and we hope patrons of North Hills enjoy this unique shopping experience this holiday season."

Designed For Joy’s temporary location will feature a variety of its products made locally by its artisans, including luxury handbags, charcuterie boards, and jewelry.

“By purchasing a handmade item from Designed For Joy, you are not only gifting a beautiful Christmas gift to that someone special but also supporting women working hard for their second chance,” added Heise.
