Summer Clothing and Home Decor Swap

 

This will be our largest Swap yet- and we're adding home decor!

Have a FUN girls night and refresh your closet the SUSTAINABLE way! Leave with a bag FULL of new-to-you clothing and a new pieces for your home too.

Our Summer Swap will benefit our DFJ mission team headed to Uganda and Rwanda in September. One of our ministries in Uganda will be serving HIV positive women in a community sewing group, an organization keeping families together by providing jobs for mothers preventing the surrendering of children to an orphanage because of poverty.

Your ticket to the Swap is a donation of $50 or more.

Start gathering your items now!

Tips:

1. Put a large plastic container in your closet NOW and as you are dressing over the next several weeks, begin dropping shirts, skirts, pants, dresses, jackets, shoes and bags in the container that don't bring you JOY. All sizes accepted. 

2. Put a second large plastic container in the hallway or coat closet. Walk through your home over the next several weeks paying attention to what catches your eye. Those wall hangings, lamps, knick knacks, prints, etc that don't bring you JOY anymore, add them to your home decor container.

Guidelines:

- We are only accepting like new items (clothing and home decor).
- If you are able to keep clothing on hangers, that is helpful but not required.

All clothing and home decor not chosen will be gifted to local ministries. 

Donations will help our team with their travel costs, ministry supplies, and the ongoing mission for DFJ here at home. Donations are nonrefundable.
