WHO: Raleigh Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin, Designed For Joy (DFJ) Executive Director Cary Heise, DFJ Recipients, and special guests.
WHAT: DFJ Ribbon Cutting and Open House for relocation of its expanded production facility and boutique to Downtown Raleigh. North Carolina is ranked #11 in the country for reports of human trafficking according to the National Human Trafficking Hotline. DFJ trains and provides transitional work experience and a living wage for women coming from vulnerable situations to include human trafficking, homelessness and addiction.
