Charcuterie Boards (Cheese & Serving Tray)

Our one of a kind handcrafted, live edge charcuterie boards are harvested from locally grown North Carolina black walnut and maple wood and expertly sanded, oiled, and finished by our own DFJ Artisans.

Each unique board is a masterpiece of its own, unique in shape, wood grain, and character, including gorgeous spalted wood patterns, knots and live edges.

Features:

• Kiln fired wood meticulously sanded by artisans in our studio
• 5 sanding steps to achieve the smooth glass like surface 
• Oiled with multiple layers of food grade butcher block conditioner, made from mineral oils and natural waxes.
• Finally, we add soft stitched leather handles that are durable, sustainably sourced, and US made.  It will have beautiful brass hardware (that will not rust) on the sides, and rubber feet to the bottom for stabilization and counter protection.
• Each board purchased comes with a handmade felt bag for storage. 
• We brand each piece with the DFJ logo as a finishing touch.

• Each board is unique!  We can not guarantee exact sizes.  Feel free to come by the shop to hand pick your board!   
• Easy Care Instructions:  Wipe clean with damp towel, do not submerge under water. Condition quarterly with butcher block conditioner (we like Howard Butcher Block Conditioner). Board is meant as a serving tray, and will age better if not used as a cutting board.  Natural wood is subject to changes in humidity, so some warping may occur.
