Now more than ever, travelers are seeking unique local experiences, including tours of businesses and nonprofits making a difference in their communities and souvenir shopping is now an impactful way to support positive change.
Our brand of leather handbags, jewelry, and home decor provide living wage work for women in crisis. Since 2017 Designed For Joy has created space for building confidence and refreshing resumes enabling women to enter the job market better prepared. To date we've hired over 100 women and they have earned over $400,000 in living wages.
Designed For Joy provides women in crisis with stability through immediate employment and support, removing the stigma of vulnerability. The women who create our brand with us are emerging from homelessness, time in prison, trafficking, substance abuse, and other vulnerable situations.
